MY VALUES
MOTIVATION
This is an integral part to my personality and without it, noting would get done. Throughout my life I have always had a strong internal sense of drive which allows me to do what I want. Knowing a task is difficult but sticking with it is vitally important to completing tasks and having success. Moreover, using this value allows me to do more and at a higher level.
ORGANIZATION
Ensuring that everything I do in order is another way that I ensure everything gets done on time. For example, I keep a whiteboard with all of my upcoming assignments and events going on so that I know what the future will look like. This way I can put my full effort into everything and plan out when I do assignments so, I never get stuck on the due date with lots to complete and no time.
PHYSICALITY
Going to the gym, running, or participating in sports has always been important to me. Not only does it improve my physique, but also helps my mental state and keep me calm. Being able to release stress and continue to improve not only helps me to remain relaxed but also allows me to treat others nicely and connect on a deeper level.
BALANCE
All three of these core values together make me a better person and have led to success in the areas I desire. Being motivated and having organization goes hand in hand because even if I wanted to get a lot done, being organized provides a map of what to do and when. Then, adding in physicality and the ability to remain calm under stressful situations makes anything possible.
MY STORY
I’m an experienced In many different industries which as led me to develop a diverse skill set. Working in a lab helped me learn how to be precise and deal with complex language while also having a structured schedule. However, I have also worked with many companies within the service industry and taught me a completely different skill. I learned how to work well with a team and be quick on my feet to be as efficient and productive as possible.
In addition to work experiences I am an active member of a fraternity and the current scholarship chairman. I have learned how to be a successful leader through my position and after conducting an outside leadership communication evaluation (OLCE) survey some respondents left comments such as, "You are a great leader." Holding a leadership position has helped me become a more effective leader while also increasing my ability to communicate with anyone.
